Store pics!

Last night was the opening of the "Local Collection" store. It was so exciting to be part of this new experiment - I can't wait to see how it goes! There were lots of really interesting pieces and a big mix of stuff, and my husband bought a shirt from a really nice guy - so glad to be supporting other local artists!I had to take most everything out of my etsy shop since I didn't have enough pieces for both - but I've got a plan for some new pieces when I get some more income :)

Aevan Arts being sold in a new shop!

I've got a great opportunity and will be selling my pieces in the Glendale Galleria at a new shop called Local Collection - we're opening next week and I'm really excited!
Now I just have to figure out pricing - I've been making new pieces to fill out my collection, so hopefully it won't be too bare.

Some of the old stuff, and some new stuff, I'm hopeful it'll help to have real tangible items for people and browsers will get more stuff sold.

we've just painted one of the rooms in our house a dark navy blue - and to be honest, I'm not entirely sure why I went so dark. I think I was hoping for something really dramatic, but now I'm having a little bit of a crisis with lightening it up, so here's a few accessories I thought might help.

Since it will eventually be a nursery - a gorgeous convertible crib and glider (it's hard to find nice gliders!!!)

houseofturquoise.com is one of my favourite design websites for inspiration, and lately, it's been giving me incredible ideas for my bedroom space!!
