I love how this turned out! My mom made the curtains and bedskirt, the butterflies and pictures above her crib are from Etsy, and everything else is either gifted or repurposed!

inspiration!
I'm loving this bedroom - I think I might copy it for our new home - from http://www.livecreatingyourself.com/2011/02/high-gloss-magazine-launches.html

I got all of my remaining pieces back from the Galleria and I've got about 17 more pieces to put up, but here's a few of the new ones!

finished!
not entirely perfect, but comfy and pretty nonetheless! Please excuse the curtains in the bedroom, I'm waiting for our carpool gift cards to get a second matching one...
Cost breakdown - 6 dollars for the wood, 20 for the hardware (including staples and a new staple gun), 20 for the batting, and 2 for the pillows I put in for extra padding. Fabric was free, leftover from an old design job and it's a gorgeous, thick, upholstery fabric, by Maharam, in peacock.
