fires make the sun orange

I was going to take pictures today, but the fires are covering the sky with smoke and it's too dark :( So we went to see houses, but the guy didn't show up at the location, also presumably because of the fires. And it's raining ash.

Can somebody please do the rain dance for California?

Yay rainy day!

Today it's raining outside! It's been a looooong time since we've had rain - it was very dry this year - so I'm super happy to see rain again. Perfect timing for my Rainy Day Clouds earrings!


This week's theme is fairies and gnomes and magical things! I adore little forest vignettes and the sort of magical, mystical feeling that they evoke.
