What a long day!

I rested most of today since I've been sick this week - and I spent the other half of the day looking for a wedding DJ since my mother decided my friend as a DJ was just not going to work for her. But I did have some time to check out forum postings for your cool Halloween listings and I got a lot of responses! Check it out :)

Almost October!

The weeks feel fast, but when you've got something long term to look forward to it seems sooooo long to get to! We're down to 205 days til the wedding. In the meantime, I've got lots of Halloween parties to go to, and no costume yet...Last year my fiance and I were a zombie cheerleader and bloodbowl player (it's a football D&D type game) My face was absolutely gruesome!

New week, new theme!

Of course, at this time of year, most people's thoughts turn to Halloween! When I was a kid it was one of my favourite holidays - not just because of the candy, but because we got to dress up! Plus, my sister's birthday is near Halloween so we often got to make a haunted house! I loved making the scariest haunted house around :) This week is costumes week!



This gown would make the most AMAZING costume gown for a princess or witch or fairy or just about anything! Of course, it would also make a gorgeous offbeat wedding gown. Spookykitten Couture has tons of amazing gowns in her shop that are really well-priced considering the work and detail in them.
